Baglietto gets ready to hog the limelight in the forthcoming boat show season with the T52 and the DOM133 “Lee” and announces a new representative office in Singapore.

La Spezia, 6 September 2023 – With only one week to the start of the 2023 boat show season, Baglietto is all set to shine on stage. After announcing the sale of the ninth unit in the DOM line, the La Spezia-based boat builder is now ready to take the spotlight at the forthcoming international events.

At the Cannes Yachting Festival, from 12 to 17 September, Baglietto will be exhibiting a world première and Queen of the show: the Baglietto T52, the shipyard’s hybrid-propulsion yacht, is indeed going to be the largest vessel on display on the Croisette. The yacht will also be present at the Monaco Yacht Show (27-30 September), together with the latest DOM133 launched by Baglietto, MY “Lee”.

“We are thrilled to be starting the new season – comments Baglietto’s CCO Fabio Ermetto – We closed the nautical year with a sale and are now going to take part in the forthcoming international boat shows with our latest vessels, which have already met with huge success: 8 units of the T52 model have been sold so far, and the sale of as many as 9 DOMs as well as the T60 and other custom projects, means that production is planned until 2026. The September boat shows will be an excellent opportunity to showcase the excellence of our products and Baglietto’s unfaltering commitment to increasingly sustainable, cutting-edge yachting”.

The international arena will also be the perfect stage to announce the opening of a new representative office in Singapore. After Australia, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic, Baglietto is looking east to conquer new, important markets. The new representative office will be managed by Alvin Chua of Monaco Yachts Asia, based in Singapore, who can boast more than 30 years’ experience on the Asian market.

“We’d had our eyes on Asia for some time – continues Ermetto – We wanted to find a partner capable of developing and promoting our brand on a market that is considerably far and different from ours. Alvi Chua, from Monaco Yachts Asia, surely has the experience and expertise to help us achieve this important objective”.

Monaco Yacht Asia will also serve as a qualified Service Point for the shipyard in the area.

Baglietto:
Boat builder Baglietto specialises in the construction of new planing aluminium yachts and steel & aluminium displacement and semi-displacement mega-yachts ranging between 35 and 65 metres in length. Baglietto can currently rely on 2 production sites, in La Spezia (headquarters) and Carrara (operating site). The La Spezia headquarters extend over an area of approximately 35,000 sq. m. Over the last few years, considerable investments were made to extensively renovate the entire production site: 3 new sheds for the construction of yachts up to 65 m in length were built in La Spezia, as well as new fully-equipped quays to berth vessels of up to 70 m. An approximately 1,200-ton travel lift – the largest in Europe – allows for the haulage and launch of up-to-65 m long yachts. The operating site in Carrara, conversely, comprises 2 areas of 5,000 sq. m each. One is used to build military crafts under the Baglietto Navy brand as well as some models of the iconic brand Betram Yachts, which joined the Baglietto Group in 2015; the second area is equipped with 4 new sheds for the construction of the DOM line and yachts up to 46 m long.
