Baglietto proudly announces acquisition of ninth order in the DOM line: sold DOM133 hull no. 10256

La Spezia, 31st August 2023 – After delivering the MY Perla Bianca and Lee, Baglietto’s hot summer doesn’t stop with the Italian Ferragosto: the La Spezia-based shipyard scores the sale of the eighth DOM133 (the ninth unit in the DOM line) signed by Stefano Vafiadis, thanks to the cooperation of broker Marios Iordanou of Blue Point Yachting in Cyprus. The yacht is scheduled for delivery in 2025.
“This sale confirms the extraordinary success of this line,” comments Fabio Ermetto, CCO Baglietto, “which, however, does not surprise us: from the very beginning we were convinced of the absolute value of this project, which does not leave out any element demanded by the market today, so much so that it led us to further lengthen the range with the introduction of a 35m entry level, the DOM115. As I have already highlighted on other occasions,” Ermetto continues, “the perfect synthesis of technology, aesthetics and versatility of uses and spaces represent the assets of a line that has been able to fully grasp the stimuli of a rapidly changing market while keeping them consistent with the DNA of the Baglietto brand.”

DOM133 MAIN FEATURES:

  • modern and captivating lines taking inspiration from the automotive world;
  • extraordinary volumes for a yacht of this size with no competition in the market;
  • a modern layout leaving no market needs unmet: a beach club on two levels, where the infinity pool lifting bottom can rise to make the already spacious cockpit even larger and to be used even in port dockage;
  • panoramic windows that open up to become terraces;
  • the possibility to install a lift If required;
  • a limited draught allowing to easily cruise even in the shallow waters of the Bahamas and Caribbean;
  • the winning choice of aluminium, which ensures not only higher quality and onboard comfort, but also greater flexibility and the possibility to make changes that results in highly-customised exteriors;
  • performance thanks to 2 Caterpillar C32 engines that will push her to an impressive maximum speed of 17 knots.

Baglietto:
Boat builder Baglietto specialises in the construction of new planing aluminium and steel & aluminium displacement mega-yachts yachts ranging between 65 metres. Baglietto can currently rely on 2 production sites, in La Spezia (headquarters) and Carrara (operating site). The La Spezia headquarters extend over an area of approximately 35,000 sq. m. Over the last few years, the entire production site has been extensively renovated and enlarged. Three new sheds allowing for the construction of yachts up to 65 m in length were built in La Spezia, as well as new fully-equipped quays, to berth vessels of up to 70 m. The operating site in Carrara, conversely, comprises 2 areas of 5,000 sq. m each. One is used to build military crafts, while in the other – now equipped with 4 new sheds – yachts up to 46 m in length are built.
