Delivery of CCN 37M “Run Away”

La Spezia, 9th March 2021 _ Baglietto Group announces the delivery of M/Y Run Away, the latest construction built by CCN to her Owner represented by Camper & Nicholsons New Build Division.
The M / Y Run Away inaugurates the DOM line, in aluminum, born from the collaboration of the yard with the designer Stefano Vafiadis who designed both interior and exterior taking inspiration from the car design.
Designed for a young and modern owner, Run Away presents unique characteristics for a 37m yacht such as, for example, the private terrace in the master cabin from which to enjoy beautiful moments of relaxation in absolute privacy or the lift that connects all the decks, from the lower deck to the sun deck. Also noteworthy in this yacht are the considerable volumes, not discounted in vessels of this size. Another important feature of the yacht is the extensive use of windows, satisfying an increasingly frequent request from owners wishing to have greater contact with the sea.
The “Run Away” layout is personal and includes a 6-cabin configuration with the owner’s cabin on the main deck and 5 cabins in the lower deck.
The yacht is powered by 2 1.193kW@2.300rpm CAT C32 engines that allow a cruising speed of 15 knots and a maximum of 16 and is certified ABS A1 (E) commercial yachting service.
The DOM line -from “DOMUS”, in Latin “Home”- was born mostly from the concept of a yacht that embodies the positive sensations linked to one’s residence: an intimate and serene space, comfortable and elegant and at the same time airy and functional.
A 40m sistership is currently under construction at the shipyard in Carrara with delivery Spring 2022 while the construction of a third unit including standard hybrid propulsion has just been started on speculation with delivery intended by Spring 2023.
Baglietto:
Boat builder Baglietto specialises in the construction of new planing aluminium yachts ranging between 38 and 50 metres in length and steel & aluminium displacement and semi-displacement mega-yachts of 40 metres and above. Baglietto can currently rely on 2 production sites, in La Spezia (headquarters) and Carrara (operating site). The La Spezia headquarters extend over an area of approximately 35,000 sq. m. Over the last few years, the entire production site was extensively renovated and enlarged. Three new sheds (the last one was inaugurated in March 2020), allowing for the construction of yachts up to 65 m in length, were built in La Spezia, as well as new fully-equipped quays, to moor vessels of up to 70 m. The operating site in Carrara, conversely, comprises 2 areas of 5,000 sq. m each. One is used to build military crafts, while in the other – now equipped with 4 new sheds – yachts up to 50 m in length are built. Baglietto’s activities are set to grow considerably, not only with regard to the construction of new pleasure vessels, but also in the military sector, with the BAGLIETTO NAVY brand, under which 2 crafts for the Italian Navy are currently under construction.
