La Spezia, 25 March 2022 _ The first DOM133, the 41-metre aluminium motor yacht designed by Stefano Vafiadis, was launched in Marina di Carrara yesterday. The yacht was then moved to the La Spezia site to complete outfitting operations. The yacht will be delivered to his Owner, introduced by Fernando Nicholson, later this summer.

Since its very debut, this line immediately met with roaring success: four more hulls are indeed currently under construction at the Carrara shipyard, with deliveries scheduled until 2024.

Perfect for trans-oceanic cruising, this 41-metre vessel stands out for her aluminium hull and limited draught (2.15 m – 7ft), that make her perfect for navigation even in shallow waters.
Her lines are modern and captivating. With her 8.70 m (29 ft.) beam, the DOM133 has very generous interior volumes and can boast original lifestyle solutions that are unmatched on yachts of this size. The main deck layout, for instance, has been conceived and designed to ensure a smooth, free flow between interior and exterior areas, while also enhancing a pleasant convivial atmosphere. The main salon, located on this deck, has floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that, once fully open, covert this area into a natural extension of the aft cockpit. Another element deserving mention is the beach club, which has by now become the ‘hallmark’ of all latest-generation vessels of the La Spezia-based boat builder: developing on two levels, it features a magnificent infinity pool with lifting bottom that rises to make the already spacious cockpit even larger. A second pool can be found on the sun deck.
Two Caterpillar C32 engines allow this yacht to reach an impressive maximum speed of 17 knots.

“A launch is always a very exciting event for a shipyard and for the Owner, who finally sees his long-held dream come true – comments Baglietto CCO Fabio Ermetto – This specific launch is even more so, because this is a brand-new project that we had only imagined so far. The DOM133 is, indeed, a project we strongly believed in from the very beginning, and its market success so far proves its value. Looking at this vessel now, in her natural element, makes us all immensely proud”.
The first DOM 133 will be presented as a world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival, from 6 to 11 September.

Baglietto:
Boat builder Baglietto specialises in the construction of new planing aluminium yachts ranging between 38 and 50 metres in length and steel & aluminium displacement mega-yachts above 40 metres. Baglietto can currently rely on 2 production sites, in La Spezia (headquarters) and Carrara (operating site). The La Spezia headquarters extend over an area of approximately 35,000 sq. m. Over the last few years, the entire production site has been extensively renovated and enlarged. Three new sheds allowing for the construction of yachts up to 65 m in length were built in La Spezia, as well as new fully-equipped quays, to berth vessels of up to 70 m. The operating site in Carrara, conversely, comprises 2 areas of 5,000 sq. m each. One is used to build military crafts, while in the other – now equipped with 4 new sheds – yachts up to 50 m in length are built. Baglietto’s activities are set to grow considerably, not only with regard to the construction of new pleasure vessels, but also in the military sector, with the BAGLIETTO NAVY brand, under which 2 crafts for the Italian Navy are currently under construction.
